New Motorex KTM factory rider, Michael Addison of Lesmurdie in WA will stage his 2008 racing team debut at the Stadium Motocross Masters to be held at Gosford Showground, Saturday January 19, on the Central Coast of NSW.
Entered on board the KTM 450 SX-F, the reigning 2007 WA Pro Open Motocross Champion will use the event as a testing ground to way up his positioning against competing factory team riders confirmed to race.
‰ÛÏMany factory teams including Motorex KTM are using this Gosford event as a training ground for the Australian Motocross Championship starting in early April, said Addison. ‰ÛÏWe all want to way up where we sit against each other on the race track.
‰ÛÏI‰Ûªll be heading to the Central Coast prior to the event to put in some testing on the KTM 450 SX-F to be fully prepared for the race. I haven‰Ûªt raced at Gosford before because I‰Ûªm usually focusing on racing on the West Coast of Australia. I hear the Central Coast has die hard motocross fans, so I‰Ûªm looking forward to getting amongst it all to show new and current fans of motocross what I can do on the KTM 450 SX-F.
‰ÛÏRider entries are still open for the Gosford Showground event, so I won‰Ûªt know my competition line up until a little closer to the day, but I know Motorex KTM is working on getting most of our senior and junior factory team riders there, so I‰Ûªm sure many other teams are going to pick their best riders to attend.‰Û
