The Easter long weekend will see a bumper start to season 2015 WAMX State Championship when the opening motos light up Shark Lake at Esperance, around 720 Kilometres south east of Perth.
The sensational double header being held on the long weekend of the 4th and 5th of April has both the Seniors and Juniors ready to converge on Esperance for two massive days of racing.
Seniors
Defending MX1 Pro champion Wellard/BRM/Yamaha mounted Kyle Webster is making a huge effort to secure his number 1 plate after moving east to contest the MX Nationals. With top riders Louis Calvin, Stevie Heilers, Dean Porter, Paul Humbertson, Jake Fewster and Craig Bolton will all be on their game with the young guns of Connor Tierney and Liam Whisler making the move into seniors after monumental success through juniors.
in The Pro MX2 class Jayden Rykers has launched his attack on season 2015 after making the move to the east to race the MX Nationals and flying back to WA to defending his Championship. The MX2 class will be red hot with Ryan Scarlett, Connor Tierney, Jake Fewster taking aim against riders such as Wade Shephard, Jackson McGrath, Keagan Williamson and Dylan Heard, all capable of podium results. The excitement package is of the newly seeded riders making their debut in the two premiere classes.
Multi WA and Australian Champion Luke Gaisford is back to take on another Quad Champion, the defending champ Chris Bosnakis with Shaun Woodhead, Mat Robbins with Brendon Reynolds, Josh McKay and Tyron Robertson ready to fire up.
A new year heralds new classes for many riders coming up through the junior ranks, with many never competing at the Shark Lake circuit at Esperance, all will be keen to kickstart their season off with positive results.
With riders converging to Esperance for right across the state of Western Australia, the massive double header is awaiting both riders and spectators this Easter.
Spectator Entry is FREE on Saturday and $10 for Adults with kids under 16 Free on Sunday. Racing from 9.30am with a full support race program over both days.
