Victoria's Calder Park Thunder-dome is the awesome new venue for the multi discipline event and starting the series this year with an ideal opening in the race calendar. ASM promotions will run Round 1 at Calder Park Raceway on Sunday November 25th 2007. The thunder-dome will roar to a new sound of Two and four stroke Motorcycles, from at least 6 different events, Calder Park being just 20 minutes from Melbourne and access to the venue a breeze, this will be a great venue for this and future Western QBE Moto Mayhem events.
Calder Park's thunder-dome massive Nascar oval will be transformed into a huge Motorcycling arena. All events will be held inside the venue, with viewing from the huge banks that surround the entire circuit or up close and personal access via the infield spectator areas." We are have confirmed on running 6 different events at the moment, as this will be a nice fit in the Natural amphitheatre. However if logistically possible we hope to run up to 8 competitions on the day." Said Mark Avard.
"The 6 competitions confirmed so far will be Supermoto - Freestyle MX - Stunt riders - MotoTrials - Pit Bike MX - Arena Enduro-X or MX tbc which one, with the possibility of the increasing popular Metro Kit Bikes & Dirt Track events. This venue is just made for the Moto Mayhem event's, and we are very excited about the excellent spectacle the festival will be." stated an enthusiastic Avard.
