In it's 30th anniversary year Victoria's Blue Light trail ride promises to be bigger and better than ever before, with 1300 entries in 2004 it may seem impossible to top but the biggest trail ride in Australia shows now signs of slowing down. Honda MPE Australia will once again return as the naming rights sponsor with the event being know as the Honda Blue Light Ride.
The 2005 edition will take place on Sunday November 13th 2005 and not November 20th as previously indicated. As was the case last year there will be a host of prizes for the fun event with the majour prize once again being a brand new Honda CRF250 X. Plans are still under way to run a junior blue Light Ride in aid of charity on the Saturday 12th November 2005, but not yet confirmed.
Event Director said that the course had undergone a total revamp and will be run in reverse with the Department of Sustainability and Environment opening up more access for riders to use.
Entry for 2005 will be $70.00 per rider and only available online. Entry will be available from August onwards.
