Yamalube celebrate 50 Years

Posted:

At Yamaha 2017 is a special year with Yamalube celebrating 50 years of performance in a bottle.

In the mid-1960‰Ûªs Mr Leo Lake, National Service Manager for then Yamaha International Corporation realised the sports motorcycle market needed a high-quality oil that enhanced reliability, durability and dependability because ‰ÛÏoff the shelf‰Û

As a new era dawned many new advancements in technology, chemistries, materials, and processes changed the market. As the market leader Yamalube recognised this and saw a chance to re-formulate the complete line to further meet the ever-changing needs of the market. With the original principles created by Leo Lake, the Yamalube brand was transformed with new complex oil formulations developed to support the growing Yamaha engine technology.

To this day Yamalube is the only engine oil engineered by Yamaha for Yamaha‰Ûªs to provide the finest quality performance lubricants possible. Our number one goal in creating Yamalube is that you, the customer, get the best performance out of your Yamaha.

All Yamalube oils always undergo extensive testing in the laboratory and in the field, making sure you get the very best protection for your engine, while letting it perform at its peak. Yamalube is always developed to the highest standards and is suitable for any land or marine product.

Yamalube has continued to be the driving force behind some of the best performing on-road and off-road racing teams both nationally and internationally.

Yamalube is proud to support some great achievements from our race teams, including the Movistar Yamaha Team that includes World Champion Valentino Rossi and Maverick Vinales, powering the CDR Yamaha team‰Ûªs Dean Ferris to multiple National Motocross Championships and finally the Active8 Yamalube Yamaha Team with rider Josh Green recently securing back to back National E1 Class wins retaining his mantle as the best E1 racer in Australia.

Yamalube over the first 50 years has continued to exemplify the principles of high quality and reliability originally developed by Leo Lake. As a company these standards continue to drive performance. Yamalube now looks forward too many more years of exceeding their customers‰Ûª expectations.
