Round two of the MX Nationals hits the long ruts and sticky clay of Appin Raceway, in western Sydney this weekend, with the three Yamaha supported race teams fired up and ready to go for what promises to be a huge weekend of racing.
The round will again feature the three championship classes of MX1 (450cc), MX2 (250cc), MXD (Under 19) as well as the Rookies class with riders under the age of 15 strutting their stuff in front of a big crowd expected at the popular venue.
Yamaha teams find themselves well placed after the opening round and look to continue the good form this weekend.
In the MX1 ranks it was CDR Yamaha's Kade Mosig who made an enterprising start to the championship at Horsham two weeks ago when he nailed down second place in the premier MX1 class. Mosig attributed the good result to a well-planned off season that saw him race in New Zealand as well as spending plenty of time testing and developing his factory YZ450F.
