Victorian Junior MX Champs
The Colac club hosted round one of the Victorian Junior Motocross Championships and the loamy track turned on some great racing. Making the trek across from South Australia was the current Australian junior Champion,
Alex Larwood, and he was clearly the man to beat in the 15 years classes. Alex dominated proceedings on his YZ125, winning all three races and taking the perfect 105 points home for the day.
He also took the win in the 15 years 250cc division with 1-3-1 results making it five race wins out of six in a very successful days racing. Making it a 1-3 in this class was Victorian Kipp Adams who finished third in a strong performance.
In the 9-11 years 65cc class,
Wil Carpenter finished in third place with some impressive riding. Also turning in good performances were
Jobe Dunne,
Angus Pearce and
Jay Jennings as the YJR crew were out in force on the weekend.
