This weekend the Yamaha 85cc 9-12-Year-Old Cup category will have the chance to line up and race on the same national circuit that the fastest riders in the country will be competing on, when round six of the Motul MX Nationals takes place at Nowra in New South Wales on Sunday.
For the very first time this season, Australia‰Ûªs youth will strut their stuff for the big factory teams, and with an impressive line up of 9-12-year-old junior competitors itching to take to the track this weekend, the support class is sure to attract plenty of positive attention.
Yamaha Motor Australia‰Ûªs Motocross and Supercross Development Supervisor Scott Bishop today explained why the manufacturer took up the naming rights to the development class, and also commented on the importance of juniors racing at the Motul MX Nationals.
