WBR Racing have confirmed a two rider line up to contest the 2014 Monster Energy MX Nationals launching their new look team on the weekend.
Joel Green who contested selected events in the MX2 last year will return to race the series full time in 2014 running the number 83 aboard a Kawasaki KX250F. Green had a best finish in 2013 of 15th and has put in a lot of effort in during the off season and is ready to push well into the top 15 in the in the highly competitive class this year.
Joining Green will be Ryan Shadbolt who will contest the MXD class. 2014 will mark Shadbolts first year of senior racing and after an accomplished junior career will be a rider to watch for once he settles into senior racing.
WBR will be supported by Scott Racing running Scott Race-Wear, boots and goggles along with the new ONE Industries Gamma helmets.
"We are very excited to get the 2014 season under way we have been putting in a lot of effort making sure the boys have great equipment under them." Team Owner Travis Whitten stated. "Our goal is to grow our program every year and give worthy riders an opportunity to put them self's to the pointy end of the very competitive classes.
"We cant wait to kick things off at Broadford."
Along with the 2014 Monster Energy MX Nationals, the WBR team will compete at the Victorian Motocross Championships that get underway on March the 15th and 16th in Horsham.
