MOTO EXPO mastermind Troy Bayliss has confirmed he will accept an invitation from MotoGP World Champion Marc Marquez to contest the Superprestigio Dirt Track event in Barcelona on December 13.
The event is perfectly timed for the three-time World Superbike Champion, falling a fortnight after Bayliss‰Ûª own Baylisstic Scramble Team‰Ûªs Challenge at MOTO EXPO Melbourne.
‰ÛÏI am excited to confirm that I will be accepting an invitation to take part in the Superprestigio in Barcelona on Dec 13," Bayliss said. "It is perfect timing for me, it will be two weeks after MOTO EXPO Melbourne so I will have a good lead-up event to help me prepare.
‰ÛÏThis will be the second running of the Superprestigio and I'm sure it has grown now that a lot of top European riders are taking part.
‰ÛÏI am hoping that it will help raise awareness of Dirt Track in Australia and we will see some big names return for the Troy Bayliss Classic in the future,‰Û
