Triumph Motorcycles has officially launched the TF 250-E and TF 450-E, developed in collaboration with former World Enduro Champions Iván Cervantes and Paul Edmondson.

These models feature a lightweight aluminium spine frame engineered for strength, agility, and stability across all terrains, along with precision-engineered 250cc and 450cc powertrains. The Triumph TF 250-E and TF 450-E models are equipped with premium components and feature off-road technology, a rider-focused ergonomics package, and race-inspired styling. Bodywork, Triumph Performance Yellow graphics, and integrated LED lighting give the bikes a look that stands out on the start line.

Triumph Motorcycles’ Chief Product Officer, Steve Sargent, said:

“We are entering the competitive Enduro scene with models that introduce advancements in performance and technology. Featuring a new chassis and engine platform, the 2026 Enduro models are designed to elevate performance, handling, comfort, and usability for professional and amateur riders.

“Working with Paul Edmondson’s team to test these bikes, our team has refined agility and performance, ensuring they excel for both new and competitive riders. This level of usability and excellence has not been seen in this sector before.”

Paul Edmondson has played a key role in the development and testing and will lead the Triumph Factory Racing Enduro Team into the EnduroGP Championship in April.

“Triumph Enduro bikes are built for adventure, engineered with handling, power, and technology to handle trails, climbs, and unpredictable landscapes with confidence,” Edmondson said.

“From technical sections to wilderness, these bikes deliver performance, control, and durability—allowing riders to push their limits. We have worked to make these models agile, fast, and lightweight, without compromising functionality or usability.”

Engineered for Enduro

Triumph has developed a 250cc and 450cc powertrain designed for performance.

The TF 450-E’s single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine delivers power and torque with a linear curve, ensuring smooth acceleration across conditions from technical ascents to high-speed straights.

Designed for high-speed racing, the TF 450-E suits experienced riders seeking power, speed, and versatility. Its torque output allows it to handle climbs, sand, and situations requiring less gear shifting. Its power delivery and connected engine character provide rear-wheel traction and control.

Triumph’s 250cc enduro engine delivers power with a purposeful character, suited for technical sections and tight challenges.

Producing 42.3 PS and 27.8 Nm of torque with a broad power curve, the TF 250-E excels in slow-speed sections while delivering power through to 12,800 RPM.

Both powertrains feature more inertia than the motocross engine, providing stable, controlled power across race conditions. The six-speed Exedy racing clutch enables smooth, clutchless upshifts, maintaining momentum in tight sections.

Fuel injection and ignition systems manage power efficiently, ensuring throttle response and reliability. A Dellorto 44mm throttle body provides an air bypass system for cold starts and a manually adjustable idle speed.

Del West titanium valves and a forged König aluminium piston ensure consistent performance during high-RPM operation, reducing servicing requirements.

For the TF 450-E, the gudgeon pin and rockers feature Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) coatings for durability and reduced friction. The radiator and auxiliary fan, combined with a tool-free Dual-stage filter from Twin-air, provide cooling for power delivery on long rides.

Athena Engine Management System

Triumph and Athena developed new software strategies with a focus on drivability and traction. The TF 250-E and TF 450-E feature a bespoke engine management system with co-developed mapping and traction control.

Dual Engine Maps allow riders to adapt performance with the press of a button. One map provides aggressive power, while the other smooths delivery for technical terrain. Additional maps can be added via the optional Wi-Fi module and Triumph MX Tune Pro app.

Exhaust System

The stainless steel exhaust system on the TF 250-E features an integrated Helmholtz resonator in the header pipe, enhancing cylinder evacuation. The TF 450-E features a side-resonator in the silencer, reducing noise while maintaining a deep exhaust note.

Aluminium Frame

Both models feature Triumph’s aluminium spine frame, designed for agility, stiffness, and a low centre of gravity. Post-fabrication machining enhances accuracy, and hand TIG-welded craftsmanship ensures strength.

Suspension

The adjustable KYB coil-sprung 48mm forks and linkage-driven rear suspension are tuned for Enduro, ensuring control, power transfer, and traction. With settings reduced by 10mm from Triumph’s motocross models, the suspension balances handling and bump absorption.

Designed for easy setup and service, it allows adjustability for rider weight and style. The swingarm geometry provides front-end feedback for rapid adjustments and intuitive handling.

Technology

The TF 250-E and TF 450-E feature premium components and technology for performance in all conditions.

Handlebar-mounted controls with illuminated buttons allow quick adjustments, while a digital display provides data, including engine temperature, trip info, and gear position.

The traction control system monitors wheel slip and adjusts power for grip. Launch control optimises torque for starts, while Triumph’s quickshifter allows clutchless upshifts from second to sixth gear.

Standard features include a Galfer braking system with 260mm front and 220mm rear discs, Brembo twin 24mm piston front caliper, a single 26mm piston rear caliper, and an adjustable span brake lever.

Both models use Michelin Enduro 2 tyres with a tread pattern for varied terrains and conditions. D.I.D DirtStar 7000 series aluminium rims with a black anodised finish and Triumph-designed hubs complete the package.

Ergonomics and Design

The TF 250-E and TF 450-E are designed for racing and extended trail riding, balancing performance and rider comfort.

Pro Taper ACF Carbon Core handlebars with adjustable mounts allow riders to personalise fit and control. ODI half-waffle lock-on grips provide hold and durability.

A 955mm seat height provides clearance while remaining manageable for technical sections. The Pyramid seat offers grip and comfort with high-quality foam padding.

The bikes feature lightweight bodywork developed in-house by Triumph. Racing-inspired graphics in Triumph Performance Yellow, Black, and White complement magnesium engine covers. An 8.3-litre fuel tank provides range for long rides, while compact LED lights enhance visibility.

Racing Pedigree

Triumph’s engineering teams have contributed to Moto2, World SuperSport, and AMA Supercross. The TF 250-X has earned multiple podiums, and Jonny Walker placed second overall in the 2025 SuperEnduro World Championship.

With the TF 250-E and TF 450-E, Triumph is set to enter Enduro racing in 2025.

Road-Legal with Racing Potential

The Triumph Enduro range is road-legal and can be adapted for competition. Triumph’s Motocross & Enduro Centres provide race preparation services and stock Triumph’s Enduro clothing range, developed with Alpinestars.

The global dealer network is supported by a 24/7 online parts supply system for express delivery.

The TF 250-E starts at £9,795 (approximately AUD 18,120.75), and the TF 450-E starts at £10,395 (approximately AUD 19,230.75). Orders are open now, with deliveries beginning in April 2025.
