Triumph Factory Racing has confirmed the extension of its partnership with American racer Jalek Swoll through 2026.

Despite currently being sidelined with an Achilles injury, Swoll is on track for a full recovery and is expected to return to racing in the second half of the Pro Motocross season. Once back in action, he aims to regain his strong form aboard the TF 250-X before turning his focus to SuperMotocross.

Swoll played a key role in Triumph Factory Racing’s debut season in AMA Supercross and Pro Motocross last year, proving both his own abilities and the potential of the TF 250-X. The Floridian made an early statement in the 2024 250SX East season opener in Detroit, finishing sixth and setting the tone for a promising campaign. By season’s end, he had secured an impressive seventh overall in the final standings.

His momentum carried into the Pro Motocross Championship, where he quickly established himself as a contender outdoors. At the opening round in California, Swoll charged to a standout fifth overall, further showcasing his talent and the competitiveness of his machine. The highlight of his season came at Unadilla, New York, where the 24-year-old made history by securing third overall, earning the Triumph TF 250-X its first-ever overall podium finish in AMA competition.

Now, as he continues to recover from injury, Swoll is eager to get back on track.

“I’m super-excited to announce my contract extension with Triumph Factory Racing,” Swoll said. “I’m really proud of what we’ve achieved together since I joined the team, and I’m excited to keep building on that. I was in a really good place with my speed before my injury this off-season and was ready to contend for wins, so when I’m back racing, the goal remains the same. Being offered a contract extension while being injured isn’t something I take for granted, and I can’t wait to be back at the races with the team, showing everyone what we can do.”

Triumph Racing America General Manager Jeremy Coker expressed confidence in Swoll’s ability to bounce back.

“The team is really excited to extend its partnership with Jalek,” Coker said. “During the pre-season, he was on track to show people what he’s capable of, so it was really unfortunate that he got injured. Looking forward, this extension through to the end of 2026 gives him plenty of time to fully recover and get back to racing when he’s 100%. Rehab of his Achilles injury is on track, but it’s something that can’t really be rushed. At this stage, we’re hopeful he’ll be back for the second half of Pro Motocross. Then, together, we can look forward to a full season of SMX next year. Overall, everyone involved is excited to have Jalek continue racing with us, and I’m looking forward to seeing him back in action.”

Ian Kimber, Head of Global Racing Programmes at Triumph Motorcycles, echoed that sentiment, emphasising Swoll’s importance to the team.

“I’m really pleased to sign Jalek for another year with the Triumph Factory Racing team,” Kimber said. “He was an integral part of our first season and helped showcase what the bike could do. His off-season training was going incredibly well, and we were all looking forward to seeing how he could build on his inaugural season with us. Unfortunately, his Achilles injury during pre-season training meant we never got to see his potential on track this year. However, we’re fully supporting him through his recovery and return to race pace, and we hope to see him back on track for Pro Motocross—once again proving what he is capable of aboard the TF 250-X.”

With Swoll’s return on the horizon and his contract extension secured, Triumph Factory Racing is looking forward to building on the successes of its debut season and continuing to develop as a competitive force in AMA racing.
