Time to Pivot with Pivot Pegz?

Author: David Hogan

Your two main contact points with your motorcycle are the most important aspects of your bike control and comfort. Your hands and your feet are what dictate your bike’s direction, your control over that direction and your feel of the bike getting to that direction.

What you stand on can make a difference in how you enjoy your ride. So level up and pivot your stance with Pivot Pegz. Standard pegz are plain, boring, weaker and narrower. Around 12mm narrower in fact than the Mark 4 Pivot Pegz.

Pivot Pegz have been around since the early 2000’s producing quality products with lifetime warranties. The current Mark 4 models are their patented design. Pivot Pegz are made from aerospace-grade stainless steel. The Pegz are also double heat treated and electro polished giving them a super strong and super clean presentation.

These Pegz are obviously unique in their pivoting action that allows the Pegz to pivot from front to back. But this feature, combined with the width and grip pattern of the Pegz allows them to uniquely grip your boot soles. In our experience with different pegs Vs the Pivot Pegz, the Pivot Pegz stays in contact with your boot soles due to the pivoting action. The Pivot gives the Pegz a flatter contact with your boot, over a longer period of your ride. More than any other peg out there. This means you have greater control over your bike from the increased contact area with the Pegz. But this greater contact that the pivoting action provides to your boot sole, prevents you from shuffling around on your Pegz . This shuffling usually equates to the peg eating your boot soles. Something I had serious issues with before I found Pivot Pegz. I was able to eat through boot soles in like 3-4rides. This is not something you want to do if you are paying for your own boots. With Pivot Pegz, I’m now able to make it through multiple seasons on a boot sole. For me, this is a massive turnaround as a result of the Pivot Pegz.

Pivot Pegz fit most brands. Allowing you to have greater contact with your bike at your feet.

The Pivoting action is also very helpful in your general riding to improve your body positioning on the bike. The ability of the bike to move under you without losing your footing is significantly increased. Your contact control through your feet is unmatched with Pivot Pegz.

Pivot Pegz are available across a wide range of models.

We have fitted our pegz to the 2023 Sherco Motorcycles 300 2stroke and the GasGas EC350F 2023 with no issues. Our fitment video is available to help you through the process.

Check out to find your bike and fitment options. Pivot Pegz for the Sherco starts at $312.00 plus shipping. But check out the website for your bike fitment, accurate shipping and purchase pricing.
