Welcome to THE DIRTY WEEKEND AHEAD, presented by SUZUKI , our weekly look at the events and riders that will be in action throughout the coming weekend.

From International Events and Races that Australians and even our New Zealand friends are competing in, to national events and even a list of as many local state events we can find.

NATIONAL

2014 Hattah Desert Race: Mildura
2013 Hattah Desert Race winner Josh Green will be aiming to make it back to back Hattah titles this weekend in Mildura - Credit: Fourohfour
The 2014 Edition of the Hattah Desert race is on this weekend with 2013 champion Josh Green ready to go head to head his 2012 Champion Toby Price.

The duo will be joined by another 398 senior entrants plus 200 juniors riders making this arguably Australia's biggest dirt bike event of 2014.

Junior racers will kick racing off on Saturday morning as they hit the track for the first time for their prologue, before the senior riders do like wise. Juniors will then return to the track Saturday afternoon for racing action.

The big race will get underway on Sunday morning with this years event being held over 7 laps of the close to 40km long circuit.

INTERNATIONAL

Ken Roczen and Jeremy Martin continue to lead the 2014 Lucas Oil American Pro Motocross Championship as round six of the 12 round series heads to Muddy Creek this weekend.

2014 World Motocross Championship round 11: Uddevalla, Sweden
Antonio Cairoli is the leader of the pack in this year world motocross championship in the MX1 class.
Aussie Line Up: Dean Ferris (MX1); Luke Styke (MX2)

Round 11 of the 2014 World Motocross championship heads to Uddevalla, Sweden with the KTM pairing of Antonio Cairoli and Jeffrey Herlings leading the way in their respective MX1 and MX2 championships.

While Herlings is looking like he will again wrap up the MX2 title, Cairoli has a fight on his hands in the MX1 class as Clement Desalle closes in on his championship lead.

Another big interest for Australian fans will be the return of Dean Ferris to the World Championship in the MX1 class racing for the Red Bull Iceone Factory Husqvarna team. Ferris will be joined in Sweden by MX2 regular Luke Styke racing for the KEMEA Yamaha team.

Our Suzuki RM-Z 250 all kitted out, though we still have plans for some more parts in the near future
This weekend we head are basing ourselves in Mildura as we take part in the 2014 KTM Hattah Desert Race. Our Suzuki RM-Z 250 is ready to go and with Fridays scrutineering now done and dusted, we are prepared for tomorrows prologue, followed by Sunday's big race.

Unfortunately we have lost our mobile internet service for the weekend and are currently relying on the local 3G network to get information out, hence no information for this weekends local state events.
