The Phoenix Fundraiser: Queensland Moto Park
If you live in Queensland make sure you head down to QMP this Sunday to help out a couple of fellow riders
The Phoenix Fundraiser is taking place this Sunday the 20th of July at Queensland Moto Park to help raise funds for Reece Tibaldi and Blake Colleton who were both seriously injured in accidents earlier this year.

Tibaldi suffered serious head injuries at an event at Hervey Bay, while Colleton suffered spinal injuries at the Wonthaggi round of the MX Nationals, with both riders both currently undergoing rehabilitation treatment.

The wider motorcycle community has come together to host not only this event, but also a series of auctions and other fun raising events to help both families out.

The event a QMP starts at 9am and runs through to 4pm, with a gold coin donation to enter the venue. There will be a host of activites for all ages including, Helicopter joy flights, Freestyle MX displays, Billy Cart Racing, Kids Jumping Castles and event a Pro MX rider Shootout.

Below are also some links to other auctions and raffles that will help with assisting with some fund raisin. There are some great collection items up for grabs.

Riders will once again be treated to some spectacular riding over two days as KTM's Toby Price leads the field into battle leading the outright classification along with the E2 class.

Ken Roczen and Jeremy Martin continue to lead the 2014 Lucas Oils American Pro Motocross Championships as the season hits the three quarter mark of the year this weekend at the Spring Creek national held in Millville, MN.

The Spring Creek venue is the home track for the 250 points leader Jeremy Martin, with the Yamaha rider a big favourite to extend his points lead on his parents home property this Saturday.

2014 Red Bull X-Fighters Round 4: Munich Germany

Aussie Line Up: Rob Aldeberg, Josh Sheehan

When the fourth round of the 2014 Red Bull X-Fighters fires into life on July the 19th it will mark the second time that the world‰Ûªs most prestigious freestyle motocross event series has come to Munich, but a track like this has never been seen in the Bavarian capital ‰ÛÒ or anywhere.

For the first time in the annals of FMX, the entire track will float on a body of water: the dazzling lake in famed Olympic Park.

Each rider will have to dive in and challenge the superkicker, two quarterpipes, four regular ramps, and two gap jumps on the ingenious structure that weighs as much as 12 Boeing 747s. Covering the length of 450 meters, it‰Ûªs also the first linear Red Bull X-Fighters layout, demanding outstanding rhythm, stamina and focus.

FULLNOSIE.COM.AU's Weekend Ahead
Our RM-Z 250 is ready to head back to the track this weekend
Well we were planning on having our first Motocross race aboard our 2014 Suzuki RM-Z 250 this weekend, but with persistent rain dropping on the Gillman Motocross track all week long, the event has been cancelled after the track was left looking more like a lake heading into the weekend.

Luckily or unluckily depending on how you look at it, Gillman was the only track in South Aus to cop the down pour and with the event cancelled nearly every other track in SA has opened their gates to hold practice days. Now we are left with some big decisions!

Hit up the next local track at Tea Tree Gully, head to arguably the states best track at Murray Bridge for some motos or head to the scenic Crystal Brooke track to get some track time on a circuit that will host the final round of the South Australian Motocross Championships! Yes South Aus is a good place to own a Motocross bike at the moment with plenty of riding options most weekends.

As always be sure to keep an eye on the Fullnoise.com.au Social Pages over the weekend for some images and updates regarding the weekends racing.

Then check the front page of the Fullnoise.com.au site on Monday for our MONDAY MOTOBOARD Presented by TM Racing Australia for a full list of results from all racing over the weekend.

Again for 2014 if there are any events at your local club that you would like to have added to the Dirty Weekend Ahead, email details to mail@fullnoise.com.au
