THE DIRTY WEEKEND AHEAD The 18th and 19th of October 2014

Rounds three and four of the 2014 Penrite Australian Supercross Championship head to Phillip Island in what is set to be the biggest weekend of Motorcycling racing in Australia this year.

For the third straight year, the Australian Supercross championship will run along side the Australian round of the MotoGp Championship with Australia's best supercross stars ready to show up the worlds best road racers.

Matt Moss was flawless at the opening two rounds running away with two big wins. But don't expect the reigning champ to have everything his own way this weekend with NPS - Monster Energy Kawasaki's Adam Monea looking to go one better than his dual second place finishes at Bathurst.

Other riders to keep an eye on will be KTM Racing's Kirk Gibbs and Moss's Motul Suzuki team-mate Lawson Bopping who both secured a podium result in Bathurst. With a full gate of 20 riders expect to line up for both Saturday and Sunday's main event, it is shaping up to be another great round of SX racing.

In the SX2 class Australian Brenden Harrison opened the season with a round win before American Gavin Faith claimed the win on night two in Bathurst to take the lead in the championship standings.

The SX2 class is sure to be hotly contested again this weekend with no less then 10 riders capable of hitting the podium both days.

2014 Australian Quad MX and Sidecar Championships

Australia's top ATV and Sidecar Motocross riders head to Horsham in Victoria for the 2014 Australian Quad and Sidecar MX Championships.
