Welcome to THE DIRTY WEEKEND AHEAD, presented by SUZUKI , our weekly look at the events and riders that will be in action throughout the coming weekend.

From International Events and Races that Australians and even our New Zealand friends are competing in, to national events and even a list of as many local state events we can find.

INTERNATIONAL

2015 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship Round 3 - Anaheim (2)
Ken Roczen will carry the Red Plate back to Anaheim this weekend
Aussie Line Up: Chad Reed (450), Brett Metcalfe (450), Matt Moss (450), Adam Monea (450) Jackson Richardson (250)

Round three of the 2015 Monster Energy AMA Supercross championship heads back to Anaheim this weekend with RCH Suzuki Ken Roczen leading the way in the SX Class, while TLD KTM's Jesse Nelson will lead the West 250 class into action.

ESPN Australian/NZ via the FOXTEL network will air the race LIVE at 2Pm in New South Wales and Victoria, 1.30Pm in South Australian and the Northern Territory, 1pm in Queensland and 11am in Western Australia.

Supercrosslive.com willshow a full webcast of all practice and qualifying starting at 7.50am AEDT in Australia

Aussie Toby Price is in line for a overall podium result at the 2015 Dakar Rally

The Final two stages of the 2015 edition of the Dakar rally will conclude the event over the weekend with Marc Coma leading the way and Australia's Toby Price in a very solid 3rd place.

We will continue to post daily updates for the big race on both Saturday and Sunday morning, so check into so see how this biggest race to start the year unfolds.

2015 AMSOIL AMA Arenacross Championships Round 2: Grand Rapids
Chris Blose leads the AMA Arenacross Championship after round 1
The second round of the 2015 AMSOIL AMA Arenacross championship featuring the Ricky Charmichale road to Supercross heads to Grand Rapids this weekend with Babbits Kawasaki's Chris Blose leading the way.

In-fact Babbits Kawasaki riders hold down the top four spots in the championship after the opening weekend and things are not likely to change this weekend with the team heading in to their home round.

Freestyle motocross riders will fly through the air, almost grazing the roof of the Tips Arena on their dirt bikes at the NIGHT of the JUMPs, January 16th/17th.

Contestants will also secure their first points towards the 2015 FMX championship in these two opening rounds of the Freestyle MX European championship.

Troy Bayliss will be one of the many world famous riders in action when he hosts the Motul Pirelli Troy Bayliss Classic this weekend.
Australia's best Dirt Track racers will converge on Taree, New South Wales this weekend to contest the 2015 edition of the Motul Pirelli Troy Bayliss Classic.

Quickly becoming the biggest Dirt Track event to kick of the Australian racing year, a host of top international riders will go head to head against Australia's best Dirt Track racers with the event also attracting some of Australia's biggest names from other racing disciplines including Moto GP racers Jack Miller, Motorcycle ace Damien Cudlin, Enduro star Chris Hollis, Former Australian Motocross and Supercross Champions Dan Reardon and Jay Marmont and former speedway world champion Jason Crump to name just a few.

Racing will take place on Saturday the 17th of January.

We will be back on track this weekend aboard our Suzuki RM-Z 250
We will be back aboard the trust Suzuki RM-Z 250 again this weekend, with plans to shortly head out for a Friday arvo ride at a local track in South Australia before heading to the venue that will host round four of the 2015 MX Nationals and cut some laps around the always great Murray Bridge track.

It will then be a quick dash home to catch the AMA SX live and cheer on the Aussie riders!
