Welcome to THE DIRTY WEEKEND AHEAD, presented by Fullnoise.com.au, our weekly look at the events and riders that will be in action throughout the coming weekend.

From International Events and Races that Australians and even our New Zealand friends are competing in, to national events and even a list of as many local state events we can find.

NATIONAL

2013 Yamaha AORC Rounds 7&8: South Australia

<b>THE DIRTY WEEKEND AHEAD</b> 29th – 30th of June

Rounds seven and eight of the 2013 Australian Off-Road Championship heads to one of South Australia's biggest wine districts in the Coonawarra. It is set to be a big weekend of racing with two sprint tests being used on both Saturday and Sunday.

A full mixture of Grass track, Sandy Pine Forrest, Quarry riding and Scrub land will be used to make up a total of three different tests for the weekend.

2013 Queensland State Motocross Championships

Some of Australia's fastest Motocross racers are in Queensland for the state motocross championships that will be ran over this weekend.

INTERNATIONAL

2013 Lucas Oils American Motocross Championship Round 6: Southwick

Aussie Line Up: Chad Reed (450) Michael Byrne (450) Brett Metcalfe (450) Jackson Richardson (250) Mackenzie Tricker (Women)

Round six of the 2013 American Motocross Championship heads to Southwick for the final race to be held at the very popular venue. Ryan Villopoto and Ryan Dungey will once again be the riders to beat once again in the 450 class, while the 250 class will be a four way battle between Ken Roczen, Eli Tomac, Marvin Musquin and Blake Bagget.

The good news for Aussie fans is we have an extra rider to cheer on this weekend with Brett Metcalfe joining, Chad Reed and Michael Byrne in the 450 class, while Jackson Richardson will once again be our sole representative in the 250 class.

2013 World Motocross Championship: Sweden

Aussie Line Up: Dean Ferris (MX2)

The World Championship heads to Uddevalla in Sweden for this weekends round of the World Championship. Antonio Cairoli continues to lead the way in the MX1 World Championship, with KTM counterpart Jeffrey Herlings leading the way in the MX2 class.

Dean Ferris will again be in action in the MX2 class on the hunt for another podium finish.

2013 Can-Am GNCC Championship Round 9: Snowshoe

Aussie Line Up: Josh Strang

Australian Josh Strang will be joined by New Zealanders Paul Whibley and Rory Mead at round nine of the American Can-Am GNCC. American rider Charlie Mullins leads the championship by eight points heading in to the round.

FULLNOISE.COM.AU KTM 350 SX-F

This Weekend sees our Fullnoise.com.au KTM 350 SX-F head to the South Australian round of the AORC to be put through what looks to be a full range of Off-Range terrain.

As you can see, this weeks version of the Dirty Weekend Ahead has been shortened somewhat, mainly due to the travel to this weekends event, and having a quick walk of a couple of the tests for this weekend.

To say I will be out of my comfort zone on the bike this weekend is an understatement, while the grass track section and even some of the pine forest sections look like they will be great fun, the quarry section used for the start and beginning of one of the tests that will be used on Sunday have me just a tad worried!

The good news is, Brendan Bell from MXTV is here to catch all the action, including getting some footage on Sunday of our KTM navigating the quarry section! Could be some interesting footage to be seen later this year!

This weekend will see our Fullnoise.com.au KTM 350 SX-F head to Renmark in South Australia for the penultimate round of the 2013 South Australian Motocross Championships.

We have been flat out all week getting the bike ready for both this weekend and next as we make the move from MX event to Off-Road for the next two weekends, it has been a long week and like everyone else out there, I am keen to forget about work for the next day and a half and go ride. Check the site next week as we give a full run down on both the lead up to this weekends event and how it all unfolds.
