2016 AMA MONSTER ENERGY SUPERCROSS ROUND 8 - Arlington, Texas
Ken Roczen will be aiming to make it two in a row this Saturday night
While Red Bull KTM's Ryan Dungey continues to amass one of the most impressive seasons in the history of Monster Energy AMA Supercross, he now has company in RCH Soaring Eagle/Jimmy Johns/Suzuki Factory Racing's Ken Roczen.

As the season prepares for its eighth race of the 2016 championship from Atlanta's Georgia Dome this Saturday, February 27, these longtime rivals and former teammates are ready to continue their captivating battle at the front of the 450SX Class.

For the Aussie fans, Chad Reed will be the sole Australian rider in action this weekend as Hayden Mellross takes a well earned break along with the remaining West coast 250 class riders as they hit their mid season break.

With the West riders on break there is massive anticipation as the Eastern Regional Championship kicks off with its first race in what looks to be a wide-open title fight.

2016 World Motocross Championship Round 1: Qatar
Romain Febvre will lead the way into the World MXGP season opener in Qatar
The opening round of the 2016 World Motocross Championship kicks off this weekend in Qatar.

Reigning world champion Romain Febvre will be the man with the target on his back as the likes of Antonio Cairoli, Max Nagl, Clement Desalle, Kevin Strijbos, Evgeny Bobryshev, Gautier Paulin, Jeremy Van Horbeek and New Zealand's Ben Townley all eye off this years title.

In the MX2 ranks it will be Jeffery Herlings who despite suffering some major injuries over the past couple of season, who will be the odds on favourite to win the title in 2016.

2016 New Zealand Motocross Championship Round 2: Manawatu
Dean Ferris swept the opening round of the NZMX Championships and will head into round two this Sunday with the points lead.
After Sweeping the opening round of the 2016 NZMX championship Australian Dean Ferris will be looking to continue his winning run at round two this weekend.

Hot on his heels will be reginging champion Cody Cooper along with Ferris long time combatant, fellow Australian Todd Waters.

The three riders were untouchable at the front at round one and more of the same is expected again this weekend.

In the MX2 ranks Hamish Harwood leads Hadleigh Knight in the championship race heading into Sunday's event, with Australian Jed Beaton in third position, just ahead of Kayne Lamont. Beaton will be joined on the line by fellow Aussies, Joel Wightman and Jayden Conforto.

2016 World SuperEnduro Championship Round 4: Brazil
Jonny Walker leads the World SuperEnduro Championship as the series moves into the second half of the season
For the third year in a row, Brazil will host a round of the world SuperEnduro championship.

Last week, the Grand Prix AMV Seguros of Argentina saw a new leader emerge after the great performance of Jonny Walker who now has a 11 point championship advantage over Cody Webb

The British rider aiming to increase that advantage before returning to Europe for the last two Grand Prix.

For us here at Fullnoise.com.au it will be a full-on weekend of motorcycle racing action!

With a host of Big International races happening this weekend we will once again be busy watching live qualifying and races all weekend long as the worlds best battle it out in Supercross, Motocross and EnduroX.

Add in the World Superbike, Supersport and Australian Superbike Championships all happening at Phillip Island, that you can keep informed on over at our Fullnoise.com.au Road and Street website, there is a good chance we will be seeing motorcycles in our sleep by Monday night.

While there is plenty to take it, it won't stop us from heading out on Sunday morning ourselves for a ride, it is why we are so passionate about the sport after all! It will be another great day aboard our Suzuki RM-Z450
