Serco Yamaha's Luke Clout will carry the red plate onto the sands of Wonthaggi in the MX2 class, while Jed Beaton ensures two Yamaha 250 Four-strokes keep the two stroke brigade away leading the MXD class into the round.

All three classes will contest 3 x 20 minute moto's this weekend and will be joined at the track by the Honda CRF150 Cup.

Below are some of the important links for this weekend.

2014 Monster Energy Supercross Round 16: East Rutherford

Aussie Line Up: Jackson Richardson (250SX) Taylor Potter (250SX)

The 16th round of the 2014 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship heads to New York with Monster Energy Kawasaki's Ryan Villopoto all but gauranteed to wrap up an amazing fourth straight championship.

Villopoto heads into his home round in Seattle with a 49 point lead over his nearest rival James Stewart. A 19th place finish for Villopoto this weekend will be enough to see him take the title.

In the 250SX East Division, Justin Bogle will head into the round behind 8 points behind Martin Davalos in the championship race, however with Davalos out along with his team mates Adam Cianciarulo and Blake Bagget who sit 3rd and 4th in points 29 behind Davalos on 120 each, Bogle should claim the points lead and possible the East title this weekend!

Bogle's closest active rival is Vince Friese who currently sits 41 points behind him. Friese is the only other rider with a mathematical chance to win the East title, but would require Bogle to score less than 9 points in the remaining two races and then for himself to win the final two rounds of the year.

Of course if Bogle scores less than 9 points and Friese does not win out, the title goes to Davalos, could a rider win a seven round title after sitting out the final two rounds of a season! The other thing to note is if Davalos does not win this title he can race the 250 class again in 2015, we think it would be his 10th year in the class.

2014 GNCC Round Five: Springville

Aussie Line Up: Josh Strang (XC1)

Only two points separate the Factory FMF/KTM duo of Kailub Russell and Charlie Mullins in the championship chase, setting the perfect stage for Sunday‰Ûªs three-hour battle.

The potential spoiler could very well be Rocky Mountain ATV*MC/N-Fab AmPro Yamaha‰Ûªs Josh Strang, who currently sits third in the championship standings. The Australians consistency has paid off as far as the point standings are concerned, but the 2010 GNCC Champion is still searching for a spot in the center of the podium.

2014 Monster World Trials Championship Round 2: Japan

The second race of the Trial Outdoor World Championship takes place this weekend at the Motegi Circuit in Japan with Toni Bou and Takahisa Fujinami heaidng into the GP as championship leaders.
