The inaugural Aussie Flat Track Nationals (AFTN) fires into life this Saturday and Sunday (October 29 & 30) on the Flat Track and TT circuits of Appin, NSW.

With a stacked entry list of current and past Australian dirt track champions, alongside up-and-coming racers already making an impact on the world stage, the scene is set for some incredible racing.

The hugely supportive Macarthur Districts Motorcycle Club have prepared not one but two incredible race tracks for the weekend racing for the likes of Jarred Brook, Tom Drane, Cysh Weale, Mick Kirkness, Marty McNamara, Ben Montgomery, and more to race for cash & prizes. Spectators are also set to win at the AFTN just by attending, with Kelpi Racing offering a $150 cash door prize each day, while the team at DPS Moto Rider Development are Paying It Forward and footing the bill for the first 25 spectators through the gate each day.

“I’m really excited to finally see the AFTN come to life,” AFTN Promoter, Dave Maddock enthused. “It’s been in the works for quite some time, but with impact of the pandemic on events, it made sense to hold off. A window opened up in the calendar to finally launch and we jumped at it.

“I can’t thank the club, the brands and companies that are supporting the series enough, in particular, Rider Support Australia, Motul, Bunda Fine Jewellery, MXstore, KTM, TCX Boots, Husqvarna, AMA Warehouse, Gas Gas, Unifiler and Ducati Scrambler who all jumped on board instantly, and without hesitation. I wish I could list everyone that has put their hand up to help to be honest because the response from the industry has been nothing short of incredible, and I can’t wait to showcase that support over the weekend and in the content we produce after the racing is over,” Maddock concluded.
