Team Motul Suzuki Ready For Appin Action

Posted:

Team Motul Suzuki are ready to tackle round two of the 2015 MX Nationals when the series heads to New South Wales for the first time this year on Sunday the 12th of April.

Expectations are high for an action packed round of racing at Appin as The Macarthur Motorcycle Complex plays host to Australia's best motocross talent including the the number one plated Suzuki RM-Z450 of Matt Moss and his Rookie MX1 team-mate Kale Makeham.

After a testing opening round at Horsham just under two weeks ago, 26 year old Moss is ready to get his aspirations of a third straight MX1 title back on track in his home state on Sunday.

"We have put the opening round behind us and are ready to get back out there for round two and make things happen." Moss stated. "My neck is still a little stiff from the crash at Horsham but apart from that the body feels good and I am ready to go.

"I have spent a few days on the bike riding at Appin in the lead up to this round, obviously it was not the track we will be racing on, but the dirt is near identical and I felt great on the bike.

"It is time to get going and do what we need to do!"

Makeham in his maiden event in the MX1 showed he has the pace to run deep inside the top ten and with the lessons learned at Horsham, the Victorian is ready to impress at a venue he has enjoyed racing at over the years.

"I have had plenty of bike time between rounds one and two," Makeham explained. "I headed over to New South Wales with plans to do a little riding at Appin in the lead up to this weekend, but after spending a couple of days riding at the Moss Institute it looked as though Appin was going to be rained out so I headed back to Victoria and got some more bike time in at home."

"I spent a fair bit of time during the preseason riding at Appin and am looking forward to getting back there for round two this Sunday. It is a track that I really enjoy and a place where I have had a lot of good results in the past and I am looking to keep the run of good results going." Makeham concluded.

Catch the Team Motul Suzuki riders this Sunday the 12th of April at round two of the MX Nationals as the championship heads to Appin, NSW.
