This weekend HRC will be back to full strength when Tim Gajser returns from injury and joins team-mate Evgeny Bobryshev for theMXGP of Lombardia, just south of Milan, Italy.
Tim Gajser was forced to sit out the Russian MXGP due to a shoulder injury he sustained from crashing in the German MXGP. After a period of rest and recuperation, he is now ready to focus on getting his world championship assault back on track.
"I am really looking forward to coming back this weekend," Gajser said. "It was really difficult having to miss a race to allow myself to heal but I now see it was the best thing for me. I like Ottobiano as I enjoy racing in the sand. Now I feel ready to come back fighting and ride like I know I can."
Evgeny Bobryshev himself is still recovering from injury and feels a lot stronger going into the weekend.
"I have raced at Ottobiano many times, we have had the Italian international championships there in the past," Bobryshev said. "I like the track, the sand there suits my riding style. I still have to consider that I am still recovering from my injury, I am pleased with how Russia went so I feel that I will be stronger in Italy. I am just going to keep working hard to get my physical condition back to where it should be and get back onto the podium."
