Team Australia ATV Riders set for European Quadcross of Nations 2017

Posted:

The 2017 European Quadcross of Nations held in Cingoli, Italy this coming September will see Australia represented for the first time at this prestigious event.

From 22nd to 24th September, the top riders from all over the world will fight it out on the track in one amazing event.

Adding to the line up on the start grid will be Australian representatives; Luke Gaisford, Jake Van Vliet and Mitch Van Vliet, making the team.

The international experience amongst the Aussie team has gone a long way in their selection, backed up by their current seeded positions in Australia. The team members will each race two moto's from the three races scheduled and objectives are set high to achieve impressive results.
Luke Gaisford
Luke Gaisford has had the privilege of racing overseas, including China and the Netherlands, adding this event to his repertoire.

Gaisford stated; "In Australia we have many up and coming racers who will benefit from our experience at this event, and hopefully will represent Australia in the Nations teams in the future."

Both Van Vliet brothers, after making history at the Finke Desert Race this year, will be on fire, as they battle it out, over in Italy.

Mitch Van Vliet commented; ‰ÛÏ Being brothers takes our racing to the next level as we push each other hard, which gives us our best results. Add Luke to the equation and we should all be fit and ready to do our best out on the track.

‰ÛÏHaving the experience of racing overseas, gives you that edge of understanding and knowledge of how things work, which is totally different to what we face in Australia. Between Luke, Jake and myself, we are all up for the challenge, as a team hopefully we should do well,‰Û
