The third and final round of the KTM National Enduro X at Calder park on Sunday the 2nd of March was set to be a show stopper in the women‰Ûªs class, only two points separating both of the front runners Jess Gardiner and Tayla Jones.
Jones qualified 2nd fastest going into the final after consistent heat races. She then shot out to the holeshot and lead for the first two laps in the afternoon's final before making an error in the Fox rocks, allowing Gardiner to pass and take the lead, leaving Jones to finish second for both the round and the series.
‰ÛÏIt was such a great series and I had a lot of fun. It was cool to show the public what we actually do." Jones commented.
"My KTM 250 SX-F was perfect every race. I couldn‰Ûªt be happier with it. I ended up 2nd for the series which I was wrapped with as it was my first year riding Enduro-X. The class was stacked with a lot of awesome riders.
"My focus now turns to the first round of the Australian Off-road championship in a few weeks time.‰Û
