Complete Tools Kawasaki Rider Aaron Tanti took another big step towards securing a top three championship result with a fine 4th place finish at the penultimate round of the 2018 Pirelli MX Nationals held at Gladstone, Qld.
Finishing the day with a 2-4 score card and was unluck to miss the podium for the round with the top four riders sperated by just two points.
The KX250F rider will now head into the final round of the series this weekend in Coolum, sitting 2nd in points, some 51 points down on championship leader Wilson Todd and three points ahead of third placed Hamish Harwood. Dylan Wills holds down 4th place in the series, but at 41 points back from Harwood, it will take a lot of work to dislodge either Tanti or Harwood from the final podium spot.
