Supercross Returns To Wayville With Tickets On Sale NOW

Posted:

The Adelaide Showgrounds at Wayville will host the third round of 2015 Australian National Supercross Championship on the 31st of October 2015.

5000 tonnes of soil will be trucked into the iconic venue and transformed into a man-made torture track for the Australian and overseas handle bar heroes.

Gilbert Racing has been staging events at the Adelaide Showground for almost 30 years, with the first Supercross in 1989 and has been witness to the rise of many of our past and present stars. The Adelaide showground is considered as one of the best outdoor stadiums for supercross in the country and will be one of the highlights of the series.

This year, with the biggest prize pool in over a decade up for grabs, the leading teams and riders are expected to go bar to bar on a fast and furious state of the art racetrack .

All the leading manufacturers teams are committed to the Australian Championship series and negotiations are underway with big name overseas stars.

The event will feature three SX1 450cc, SX2 up to 250cc and SXD under 19. Defending 450cc SX1 Champion Suzuki's Matt Moss will go head to head with South Australia's very own KTM‰Ûªs Kirk Gibbs, the tenacious South Australian who currently leads the 2015 Motocross Championship will stop at nothing to claim victory in his home state.

Tickets are on sale NOW and can be purchased by CLICKING HERE
