Honda Racing RedMoto Enduro Team’s Steve Holcombe is fired up and ready to chase his 10th world title as the 2025 FIM EnduroGP World Championship kicks off this weekend in Fafe, Portugal (April 4-6).

Determined to improve on last season’s runner-up finish in both EnduroGP and Enduro1, Holcombe has stepped up to the Enduro2 category for 2025, racing the Honda-RedMoto CRF 300RX Enduro. He arrived in Portugal over a week ago to fine-tune his preparations on similar terrain to what he’ll face this weekend. With a productive offseason behind him, he’s confident heading into the opening round, which begins Friday evening with the traditional Super Test.

“I’m looking forward to getting EnduroGP underway this weekend,” said Holcombe. “It’s been a busy and productive offseason, and I feel like I’m in a good place ahead of round one. With this being my second year on the Honda Racing RedMoto Enduro Team, we were able to fully prepare during the winter. We did plenty of testing, tried different bikes, and I’m happy on the CRF 300RX Enduro. I enjoyed racing the 250 four-stroke last year, but at times looked for a little extra power. I think the 300 four-stroke will give me that. I was able to take a race win in Fafe last year, so the goal is to start 2025 strong and fight as hard as I can for my 10th world title!”

Following Portugal, the seven-round championship moves to Spain and Sweden in May before returning in August for round four in Wales. A busy end to the year sees stops in France and Italy in September, with the season concluding in Germany in October.
