Stars set for Kings of Wanneroo

Posted:

A host of Australian and International riders will gravitate to Western Australia this month for the 2010 Kings of Wanneroo, set down for November 21 at Barbagallo Raceway.

Never struggling to attract high-quality names to the annual event, once again organisers have delivered drawing Northern Irish MotoGP and BSBK rider Jeremy McWilliams, back after his 2009 debut.

A veteran of the MotoGP scene for the best part of 15 years, McWilliams will again be the headline act, but has a supporting cast that could hold the spotlight in their own right.

Leading the Australian charge is current ASBK Championship leader and WA-native Bryan Staring, along with two-time ASBK champion Jamie Stauffer.

Staring looks odds-on to be heading to Western Australia full of confidence as he stands just one round away from claiming his maiden ASBK crown.

Still in its infancy, the Kings of Wanneroo event has become wildly popular attracting interest from all corners of Australia, as well as Europe and the United Kingdom.

Spectators will be able to see the Superbike/Supersport Challenge Cup, Sidecar, 125GP and 'Stars of Tomorrow' Clubman classes.

The 2010 Kings of Wanneroo event will take place on Sunday November 21 at Barbagallo Raceway.
