Founded in 2009 by Steve Ingham F1moto has grown from a small home ran, two and four stroke motorcycle performance business and online retail outlet to a one stop online parts and performance store for all your motorcycle needs.
With F1moto's ever growing catalogue of parts and accessories, Steve and Business partner Helen Coates made the decision to move into anew factory and warehouse facility in October this year and today (Wednesday the 3rd of December 2014) have now opened their all new Showroom, giving customers the chance to see and purchase products directly from the F1moto.com.au warehouse.
"F1moto has moved into our new 350 square metre warehouse and showroom at Appin NSW to pursue the next wave of Innovative Omni Channel retailing including a Trade Counter, Click and Collect Service and of course our ever growing ecommerce and mail order business." Helen Coates explained. "We are looking at new products to offer and will have an increased stock of engine rebuild parts and bike accessories in stock.
Along with growing the physical size of F1moto, Steve and Helen will also be looking to grow their work force in the coming months and will soon be on the look out for the right candidate to help to continue to grow their Australian ran business.
"We will be looking to employ a Parts and warehouse operative to assist with counter sales and stock control and of course will continue to offer a great range of products at competative prices for all our existing and future customers." Coates added.
The move into the new warehouse and showroom comes off the back of another highly successful year for the company that saw F1moto.com.au win the Illawarra Excellence in innovation award for 2014 that also lead to a nomination for a New South Wales state business award.
"Winning the excellence in innovation award against a 3D printing company and a Fibre Optic Company was an amazing achievement." Coates said. "We still feel totally awed by this and feel its a huge measure of how F1moto has raised the bar in the Motorcycle Retail Industry.
"Being recognised as an Innovative Company purely based on our business model and business practices instead of a new technology or product is pretty incredible."
