Following a crash in practice that eventually saw Trey Canard sit out the main event fo the opening round of the 2017 Monster Energy Supercross Season at Anaheim last Saturday night, the KTM rider will now miss round two.
The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider underwent a had a follow up check of the shoulder injury where doctors confirmed that Canard has sustained a minor rotator cuff tear and will miss Round 2 this Saturday in San Diego.
"The good news is that the tear is minor and doesn‰Ûªt require any type of surgery," Canard said, "It feels extremely sore right now because of the swelling and fluid that has built up around it but once the swelling goes down the doctor says I should be good to go.‰Û
