Motorcycling Australia‰Ûªs Elite Performance Academy (EPA) members will have access to the best facilities on offer when the final camp of the 2015 program takes place on the Gold Coast in September.
The camp, which will feature eight riders selected from the initial EPA camp in June, will focus heavily on on-bike skill assessment and development.
The EPA program will employ assessment and development techniques not before used in Australia. To accommodate the requirements of the program, specific riding facilities have been targeted. The following facilities have been unveiled for the second EPA camp:
Hatchers Raceway, Arundel
Performance Driving Centre, Norwell
Gold Coast Motorsport Training Centre, Pimpama
EPA Exercise Physiologist Tim Cole said securing the support of the three venues was in line with Motorcycling Australia‰Ûªs commitment to delivering a program that develops and prepares athletes for the transition into top level, international competitions.
‰ÛÏWe‰Ûªre extremely pleased that these three venues have come on-board to facilitate the running of the second EPA camp in September,‰Û
