Renmark was the venue for Round four of the South Australian Motocross Championships last weekend the 22nd and 23rd of June.
Under grey skies and persistent drizzle, the South Australian Yamaha Junior Racing team did their best with all three riders finishing on the podium for the day.
Thomas Larwood came to Renmark with one thing on his mind, to continue his winning form and build his points lead in the championship chase in thee 9 to 11 years 85cc class.
Thomas had great results over the three motos finishing with 2-1-2 results for the round victory. His smart racing and patience were the keys to his success.
"I am really happy to win the round as it was tough today. My bike worked awesome and I managed to get a few more points in the championship so, I couldn‰Ûªt be happier," said young Larwood.
Oscar Maule wanted to continue on from his previous rounds result. Oscar scored 6-3-2 results for third overall ion the 12 to 15 years 85cc division which was a great result racing in very trying conditions. Oscar showed good speed and he belongs up the pointy end of this field.
"I had a fun day which is strange as I usually don‰Ûªt like the mud and it bucketed down in our last race." Maule explained. "But I seemed to get better in it as the day went on and now, I don‰Ûªt mind it.
