Round Six Of The 2025 ProMX Championship Relocated to Canberra

The ProMX Championship last visited Canberra in 2021

Round six of the 2025 ProMX Championship has been relocated from Nowra to Canberra with the round set to take place on its originally scheduled date of Sunday, July 6.

The change in venue was due to circumstances beyond the control of the Nowra District Motorcycle Club, making it no longer feasible to host the event. ProMX Management extended its thanks to the club for its efforts and hopes to return to Nowra in the future.

The relocated round will now be held at the ACT Motorcycle Club, marking ProMX’s return to the nation’s capital for the first time since 2021. The venue will host racing across the MX1, Pirelli MX2, MX3, and MX65 Futures classes.

Richard Millott, Motorcycling Australia Events Manager, said:

“We are very happy to be headed to Canberra for round six, and our thanks go to the ACT Motorcycle Club for welcoming the ProMX Championship. It’s going to be an excellent spectacle, and we look forward to seeing the riders, teams and fans enjoy the event in the ACT.”

Andrew Stiles, ACT Motorcycle Club, added:

“The ACT Motorcycle Club is thrilled to welcome back the ProMX Championship to the nation’s capital for the first time since 2021! It’s an honour to host the country’s top motocross talent on our home turf, and we’re proud to showcase our track, our community, and our passion for the sport.

“Canberra is ready for a weekend of racing, and we can’t wait to see fans and riders alike bring the energy back to where it belongs – right here in the heart of the ACT!”
