Ross Beaton’s Return To National Racing Put On Ice

Posted:

It‰Ûªs a tough game racing dirt bikes, and one rider who has had to ride the highs and lows more than most, is long time Yamaha supported Ross Beaton who has signed on to race for the DPH Motosports Yamaha outfit for 2015.

Beaton, who was set to make his come back to the professional racing circuit for the 2015 season, suffered a nasty injury while training that will see his comeback postponed until the halfway point of MX Nationals season.

"This is definitely not where I thought I would be at the moment." Beaton commented in a interview on the official MX Nationals web site. "I was riding at a friends place with my brother and Lawson Bopping actually.

"We were on our first ride out after lunch and I was trying to wash some speed off over a jump and I stalled my bike on the up ramp, which resulted in me going over the handlebars and breaking my leg.

"My team has been so supportive through the whole process so I want to make sure I‰Ûªm there cheering the guys on and supporting them as much as I can, also with Jed (brother) racing, and a few other guys, I want to be there to watch them do well." Beaton added.

At this point in time Beaton is looking at returning to race when the second half of the MX Nationals kicks off in early July.
