Rocket Ride Kicks Of 2025 Red Bull Erzbergrodeo

Austrian crowd favourite Ossi Reisinger once again proved unstoppable on the Iron Giant, storming to his seventh MITAS Rocket Ride victory with a flawless display of uphill dominance

The 2025 Red Bull Erzbergrodeo kicked into gear with the fan-favourite MITAS Rocket Ride, as thousands of spectators packed the slopes of Austria’s Iron Mountain to witness off-road mayhem at its finest.

The steep slopes of the Erzberg once again delivered a high-adrenaline show, as local hero Ossi Reisinger (AUT, Husqvarna) claimed a record-breaking seventh victory in the MITAS Rocket Ride, narrowly edging out Chris Gundermann (GER, KTM) and Kevin Gallas (GER, Yamaha) in the spectacular Super Final.

Almost 300 riders tackled the challenging four-slope course, which featured tight corners and unforgiving gradients. With perfect track prep thanks to Wacker Neuson, the top 48 qualifiers blasted up the mountain in the evening showdown in front of a roaring crowd.

Notable performances came from across the globe, with competitors representing 16 nations and three continents. Among them, Australia’s own Wade Ibrahim put in a superb ride, finishing sixth overall — a strong showing that underlined the growing depth of Aussie talent on the international stage.

Adding to the entertainment, Johnny Aubert and others brought out powerful twin-cylinder machines for some thunderous uphill sprints, and the Schmidt Racing Team lit up the mountain with a V8 AWD buggy show run that had the crowd in a frenzy.

Final Results – MITAS Rocket Ride 2025:
1 Ossi Reisinger (AUT, Husqvarna)
2 Chris Gundermann (GER, KTM)
3 Kevin Gallas (GER, Yamaha)
4 Artsiom Kuntsevich (BLR, Husqvarna)
5 Kornel Ott (HUN, Beta)
6 Wade Ibrahim (AUS, Husqvarna)
