It’s 4th of July weekend in the USA, and that can mean only one thing — it’s RedBud time.
It’s the event that nearly every true moto fan knows, wants to attend, dreams of ripping a lap around, or just being trackside at least once in their life.
Press Day for round 6 of the 2025 Pro Motocross Championship wrapped up today, with a range of pro riders hitting the track and taking part in pre-event interviews. David Hogan was there once again to capture insights from the riders and a glimpse of what lies ahead on race day.
Chase Sexton is back in action this weekend. The Illinois native returns for his home race looking refreshed after his wild season opener at Pala. A few weeks off seem to have done him good — but will that translate into a strong result tomorrow?
Malcolm Stewart paid tribute to the late Aiden Zingg on Press Day, wearing a tribute jersey featuring Zingg’s name and number, #39. Rest in peace, Aiden Zingg.
Hunter and Jett Lawrence were also on track, fresh off their announcement that they’ll return for the 2025 AUSX Open. The brothers took turns on track during Press Day, seemingly testing different settings as they dial in their CRF450s.
Grant Harlan was seen putting his Yamaha to good use, carving through the legendary loam of RedBud’s surface.
Jo Shimoda was also out for Press Day, hoping to build on his strong second moto at Southwick last week. No doubt he’ll be looking for two clean starts — and two upright finishes — this time around.
