The Yamaha BLU CRU Aussie Flat Track Nationals will crown its inaugural Pro Women champion at Griffith’s The Pines Raceway on October 11, with five races set to decide who claims the historic 2025 title.

All eyes will be on Queensland’s Latiya Allen, who leads the standings after the opening Maryborough rounds. Allen’s speed on the granite flat track saw her hold off Brittaney O’Brien by just nine points, though O’Brien showed her strength on the TT layout with jumps and technical turns. With Griffith offering both track types on its unique semi-oil surface, the showdown promises to be fierce.

Consistency could yet prove the deciding factor, and Matilda Heaton-New has been the rider most capable of delivering it with a string of podium finishes that have her sitting third in the points. Emma Scott and Katarna Robinson also remain in the hunt, ready to pounce should the frontrunners falter.

Series organiser Dave Maddock said the Griffith decider will be a milestone moment. “Crowning the 2025 Pro Women Yamaha BLU CRU Aussie Flat Track Nationals champion is going to be a really special moment at Griffith. We have some incredibly talented women competing, and it’s a proud moment to highlight them under lights in Griffith.”

Allen admitted the occasion comes with nerves. “This will be my first time racing at The Pines so it will be a whole new world,” she said. “Brittaney was really strong at Maryborough so it’s going to be a good battle. It’s an exciting time to be racing – the Pro Women class is incredible because it gives girls the chance to race each other, gain confidence, and just get out there.”

The title fight will play out across two track formats in one day, with three races on the TT layout followed by two on the flat track. In total, riders will contest 13 races over the season across four different track types, making the 2025 champion a true all-rounder.

Support classes will run alongside the headline action, with live timing available via Computime and tickets on sale now. Racing gets underway from 12:15pm, with the Pro Women’s podium scheduled for approximately 9:45pm under the Griffith lights.
