The Privateer Highway Performance Bikes Off Road Team of David Hogan and Jennifer Blackwood is gearing up for the Victorian round of the Australian Off Road Championship this weekend.
Rounds 3 and 4 will be held at Wonthaggi and the team is excited to be racing sprint format on both days. David Hogan currently sits in 9th place in E3 class after the opening rounds at Dungog.
"I'm keen to get into the sprint format this weekend, haven't had a two day sprint in a while and I always like that format. Hopefully we can have good pace this weekend" said Hogan.
"The opening rounds at Dungog were a tough weekend for us in the Enduro format. Jennifer got some good bruises and I had a few crashes and managed to complete day 2 on a leaking rear shock." added Hogan
Jennifer Blackwood currently sits in 8th place in the women's class. After the opening two rounds of the championship and is confident of an even better result in this weekend‰Ûªs sprint format.
"I had a few crashes on the opening day in Dungog and that slowed me on day two." said Blackwood.
"I'm happy to hear that this weekend is sprint format as I do better at these rounds. I feel I can learn the track better and get faster as the day goes on" she concluded.
