Powersports Kawasaki back rising FMX talent Jayden Archer

Jayden Archer
Australia's youngest up and coming Freestyle Motocross (FMX) talent Jayden Archer, AKA 'Jayo' has received much needed backing from dealership Powersports Kawasaki, in Seaford, Vic

15 year old Archer made history at the beginning of the year, by becoming the youngest person on record to land a motorcycle backflip over 75ft. He did so with the assistance of mentor and X Games gold medalist Cam Sinclair. Sinclair has been essentially 'grooming' Archer for a number of years ago ‰ÛÒ since becoming family friends.

With the backflip already in his repertoire, as well as many of the sports most technical 'upright' tricks- Archer's obvious talent was enough to earn the attention of Powersports Kawasaki management. Until this point, Archer's FMX career had survived mostly on second hand machinery supplied by Sinclair. Clothing and apparel wise, the youngster also has earned support from industry sponsors FOX and OAKLEY.

"We've heard a lot about Jayo and really just wanted to give him the opportunity to take his career to the next level. He's only very young, but obviously has a great gift for FMX and for a kid his age, has a really level head," said Powersports Kawasaki's Ben Sterling.

After taking delivery of his brand new KX250F over the weekend, Archer's plan is to take it slow and simply build FMX experience into 2012.

"At the moment, I just want to ride and keep learning new tricks. I'm really lucky to have someone like Cam (Sinclair) to learn from ‰ÛÒ so I'll try to make the most of it. I'm really excited to have a brand new KX250F to ride, it's awesome!" Archer said.
