The 2026 FIM International Six Days of Enduro (ISDE) will return to Portugal from 12–17 October, marking the 100th edition of the world’s longest-running offroad motorcycle event.

The Alentejo region, rich in Enduro heritage and a regular host of FIM EnduroGP rounds, will provide the backdrop for this historic milestone.

Portugal has welcomed the ISDE three times before, in Coimbra (1999), Figueira da Foz (2009), and Portimão (2019), and its diverse terrain will once again challenge the world’s best riders while offering unforgettable trails for amateur and hobby participants.

Pedro Mariano, FIM Race Director for the ISDE, highlighted the region’s appeal: “The ISDE in Portugal will be a good race for sure. It will be in a region that is well-supported for Enduro, has been tested many times, and is well-received by riders. The mixture of sandy and rocky terrain will be a great challenge and will enable us to create some incredible special tests and trails to ride.”

FIM President Jorge Viegas expressed his excitement at hosting the centenary event in his home country: “The 2026 edition of the ISDE will be a truly historic occasion, as we celebrate the 100th edition of this iconic event and the most prestigious off-road competition. With more than six hundred riders expected to take part, we are confident that this milestone edition will be a resounding success, thanks to the dedication and outstanding work of the Federação de Motociclismo de Portugal (FMP), whose commitment continues to elevate our sport. This centenary celebration will be an unforgettable moment for fans and participants alike, uniting the international motorcycling community in a truly unique atmosphere worthy of this great tradition.”

The Alentejo region’s combination of rugged trails, sand, and rock will put competitors’ skill and endurance to the test, making the 100th edition of the ISDE a fitting celebration of the event’s century-long legacy in global Enduro racing.
