Pirelli Tyres Now available To Order for ASBK Rd1 at Queensland Raceway

Link International have announced that competitors who choose to race on Pirelli tyres in all classes at round 1 of the Australian Superbike Championship at Queensland Raceway April 5-6, can now order their tyres by completing the appropriate tyre order form which can be downloaded at www.linkint.com.au.

Pirelli has been has been the Official Tyre Supplier to the FIM World Superbike Championship for over ten years, providing World Championship level racing tyres to the FIM World Superbike Championship, World Supersport and World Superstock Championship among other classes with great success.

The recent move to 17" tyres in the World Superbike Championship has meant an even closer link to the Australian Superbike Championship, with riders in the 2014 ASBK season ahead being able to use some of the exact same tyre solutions used at rounds of the World Superbike Championship in 2013 and at Phillip Island in 2014, to race in the Motorcycling Australia affiliated Australian Superbike Championship in 2014.

Pirelli will provide two compound choices front and 3 choices rear in Superbike, Supersport 600 and Evo Unlimited classes, to provide riders and teams with optimum choice for the best race times, bike and tyre performance in differing track conditions throughout the season, and to provide a level playing field for both Factory supported and Privateer riders alike.

Superlites Production 250/300 and 400 classes can also run on Pirelli tyres for the upcoming ASBK season, with pricing in each class at special reduced ASBK only pricing for all competitors who choose Pirelli.

For the national the Supersport 600 class, Pirelli will also release and updated 180/60ZR-17 SC0 compound rear Diablo Supercorsa SC tyre.
