Following the success of the themed rounds in 2016 and 2017, the riders and teams of the 2018 Pirelli MX Nationals, will again be dressing up there machines and rallying support for the Breast Cancer Foundation.
This years Retro Round, will take place at round 7 and 8 in New South Wales, this round will see machines don vintage graphics and riders showcase special edition retro gear ‰ÛÒ throwing racing back to the good old days. The timing is fitting for Retro round as the Australian Post Classics takes place at the same venue the following weekend.
As per previous years, the closing round of the Pirelli MX Nationals will not only be dedicated to crowning champions, but to the National Breast Cancer Foundation for the official Pink Ribbon round. With Coolum on the Sunshine Coast as the back drop, competitors will have the opportunity to turn their bikes and gear PINK in a bid to raise funds for those suffering from the effects of Breast Cancer. A charity close to the hearts of many, and of course a special initiative that the Pirelli MX Nationals undertakes every season.
