It was a weekend of firsts for Jess Gardiner when she lined up for her first ever Enduro-X race at the opening round of the 2014 KTM Australia Enduro-X Championships held at Archerfield Speedway, Queensland.
Racing aboard her 2014 Sherco SE300i, Gardiner showed no sign of inexperience as she tackled her first Enduro-X. Her training in France over Christmas paid dividends as she confidently took to the course during practice and heats.
There was no sign of nerves as Jess took the holeshot in the final and led from start to finish. Jess went on to win by half a lap from Kristie Mckinnon and Tayla Jones.
