New South Wales young gun Brady Kurtz has produced a flawless performance to win the 2012 Australian Under 16 125cc Solo Speedway Championship at Loxford Park, Kurri Kurri on Friday.

Kurtz won all five of his heats enduring a tumultuous Final that included three restarts before claiming victory ahead of fellow NSW rider Jack Holder and Kurri Kurri local rider Lawson Walters.

In a brilliant night of racing action Kurtz added to his 2010 title in a Final that was not without drama, keeping the crowd on the edge of their seats.

Holder and Victorian Max Fricke came together twice, resulting in red flags before Fricke came unstuck on the third start and was unfortunately excluded from the Final.

Kurtz enjoyed a clean start before holding off a determined Holder, with qualifier Walters taking a well-deserved third.

Adding to his second National Championship, Kurtz thrived on the lightning fast Kurri Kurri track smashing the lap record twice.
