How often have you read a glowing review of a product or service at its release and wondered if it would stand the test of time? Probably more than you can count.
So we are revisiting the Tech167 3D printed threaded Funnel that we have been using and probably not treating all that nicely over the past year.

Has it survived?
Of course, it has. This funnel has been stored in a random box on the shelf with all my other funnels, fuel can spouts etc. When it wasn’t there it was jammed in a shelf in the trailer to come with us to the track if we were planning an onsite change at multi-day events. So it hasn’t had an easy, squash-free life.
There are no signs of wear, no splitting, no cracking and you can still thread it into the oil filler cap just the same as you did on day one.
Have we used it for every oil change?
Every single change on the GasGas EC 350 has been completed with the aid of the Threaded Funnel. That should tell you that it has made oil changes a lot easier. There is no spilling thanks to the funnel being threaded in. This also allows for two hands to pour or at least be safer with a single-hand pour as there is no risk of you bumping the funnel out and spilling oil all over your bike and likely the floor of the shed. It just makes sense.
Will it continue to be used?
It definitely will be.
The funnel is in perfect working order and has prevented oil spills. Why would it not be the first funnel I pull out when the GasGas needs an oil change?
We might have to see if the Tech167 team has made one to fit the Sherco yet???
