Andrew Stevens has been unanimously appointed as Motorcycling Victoria‰Ûªs 18th president after the MV Board met on Tuesday, April 19.
Andrew, who got involved in motorcycling as a recreational rider, joined the Board in 2013 as an independent Director and has also been a member of the Governance Sub-Committee and has also provided beneficial legal advice to the Board due to his work in the corporate sector and his Master's degree in law.
He has also been an experienced race marshal at the Australian MotoGP at Phillip Island.
Andrew, who is honoured by the appointment, says the future of Motorcycling Victoria is looking very exciting. ‰ÛÏWhilst it‰Ûªs going to be a tough period for MV, it‰Ûªs also going to be an exciting period for MV. It‰Ûªll be good to be able to contribute through the presidency and work with CEO Wayne Holdsworth and the MV staff that are heading in a really exciting direction,‰Û
