Neil Crompton has confirmed his availability to MC the Mr Motocross Legends and Stars Charity Dinner on 8 March, 2014 at Crown Casino in Melbourne.
Vince Tesoriero, the ground breaking Australian Mr Motocross promoter, was always looking for an edge to improve his series, focusing on promoting rider profiles through the local press where each round of the series was to be held, discovered Crompton in Ballarat, Victoria, and decided that he was just the man to get the Mr Motocross message across thanks to his smooth and fluid voice.
The hook-up with Mr Motocross propelled Crompton into a 41-year motoring career, eight years of motocross, 28-years of car racing and 15-years as a professional commentator.
To this day Crompton is heard in our lounge rooms via his television commentary of the V8 Supercars, F1 and more. He is a well-respected, valued and measured commentator whose racing background gives him a feel for what‰Ûªs going on out on the track.
On 8 March, 2014 Crompton will team up with with the man who gave him that opportunity, Vince Tesoriero, at the Mr Motocross Legends and Stars Charity Dinner supporting Kids with Cancer. Attending the event will be the seven winners of the Mr Motocross series: Trevor and Gary Flood, Anthony Gunter, Stephen Gall, Ray ‰Û÷Goof‰Ûª Vandenberg, Jeff Leisk and Craig Dack, along with more than 60 motocross stars from the era.
