This weekends much anticipated Mr. Vmx Race Meeting, which was to be held at the Broadford Motocross track in Victoria, has been postponed due to the weather. The club released the following statement last night
"Unfortunately we have had to make the agonising decision to postpone this event due to the inclement weather this week.
"The Broadford track has received over 50mm of rain today alone in the past 8 hours and more rain and thunderstorms are forecast. The dams are over flowing and the track has washed away in some sections and it's too wet and boggy to get a machine on to carry out any track grooming and maintenance.
"We the viper committee thank everyone that entered and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience. This event is now postponed and we aim to run it again as the first viper event for the year in March/April 2018.
