Continuing on from the success of Motorcycling Victoria‰Ûªs new MotorSafe Nippers Class, the initiative will now run at Round 3 of the 2013 Victorian Senior Motocross Championships at Warrnambool this weekend on both Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21.
The Nippers class is designed to introduce new, young riders, aged 4 to 9-years-old, to motorcycle sport at a non-competitive level.
The class also gives those kids who are licenced through the MotorSafe Program the opportunity to become involved in a safe and controlled environment. The youngsters will be completely separated from normal senior activities.
Sign-in will be at 9.30am, followed by a scrutineering and safety briefing at 10 am. Like Albury-Wodonga, there will be two rides scheduled for 11am and midday for approximately 10 minutes each (times are subject to change).
The Nippers Class is also planned for Round 4 of the VSMXC at Outtrim in August. An online entry form for this round will be available on Motorcycling Victoria‰Ûªs website soon.
